Scott was born in Davenport, Iowa on March 17, 1965; he was called home to the Lord on December 27, 2009. After a brief move to Montana then to Japan, Scott settled with his family in Puyallup, Washington in 1969. During his school years, he enjoyed soccer, track and football. Later, he enjoyed fishing with his dad, spending time with his brother and four-wheeling with his Uncle John. In 2008-2009 he enjoyed volunteering at All Saints Food Bank three days a week. Scott had a heart of gold and was deeply committed to the Lord. He was loved by many and will be missed by all. Scott is survived by his parents, Bob and Sandy Simon; his brother, Jeff Simon; grandmother Dodie; Uncle John (Meyers); Aunt Jill and Uncle Rick (Gustas), Aunt Lynn (Simon) and many other relatives and friends, including companion, Debbie. Scott was preceded in death by his brother, Todd Simon, with whom he will be laid to rest. A vigil will be celebrated on Friday, January 1 at 7PM with a funeral Mass on Saturday, January 2 at 11AM. Both services will be held at All Saints Catholic Church, 503 3rd Street SW, Puyallup, WA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to All Saints Food Bank, 503 3rd Street SW, Puyallup, WA 98371.
