Betty J Oliver

Betty J. Oliver, age 84 passed away Sunday, March 23, 2014 in Bradenton. Born in Foley, FL she moved to Sarasota to pastor with her husband Jack at the North Sarasota Church of God in 1964 She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Rev. Jack C. Oliver, her father and mother, Charles H. and Francis Gainey and her brother Joe Gainey. Survivors include her three sons; Jack Gaylen Oliver of Tampa; Rodney E. Oliver of Bradenton; and James Daryl Oliver of Sarasota; six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday March 28, 2014 at Samoset Church of God, 3615 17th Street Court East, Bradenton, Florida 34208 with Reverend Graham Chancey officiating. Burial will be at Braden River Cemetery with a graveside service. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, March 27, 2014 at Griffith Cline Funeral Home, 720 Manatee Avenue West, Bradenton, Florida 34205.
