Deborah "Debbie" Lloyd

Deborah "Debbie" Lloyd 60, of Kingsport went to be with the Lord on August 30, 2016 at Holston Valley Medical Center. Deborah enjoyed her daughters, "family", and grandchildren. She was an avid pool player and was always the head cheerleader in the stands. Deborah was preceded in death by her parents Melvyn and Stephanie Howlett; special sisters, Helen Thacker and Vicki Greenwalt. Survivors include her loving husband of 40 years, Mick Lloyd; daughters, Becky Nelson and husband Thomas, Mercedes Lloyd; grandchildren, Micah, Grace, and Tyra Nelson; sister, Claire Lockton; brother, Jason Howlett; sister-in-law, Jean Holmes and husband Alan; along with several nieces, nephews, and her many "special" loved ones. A celebration of life service will be conducted on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home at 1pm in the funeral home chapel. Those wishing to attend are asked to be at the funeral home no later than 12:50 PM. The family would like to invite everyone to stay and fellowship with them in the Sharelife room following the service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her honor to the WMA Cancer Patient Assistance Fund at 1905 American Way Kingsport, TN 37660 or the Susan G. Komen Foundation/Tri-Cities at 301 Louis St. #304 Kingsport, TN 37660. Carter-Trent Funeral Home downtown, Kingsport is serving the Lloyd family.
