August 30th, 1953 - August 10th, 2018
Mark Schultz, age 64, died on Friday August 10, 2018 after a 44 day illness with cancer. He was born August 30, 1953 to Jean and George Schultz, He was an only child. He attended Phoenix Christian High School where he participated in the 1968 State Championship for baseball. He attended Arizona State University and Los Angeles Baptist College where he also played baseball. Mark worked in Social Work until 1990 when he then became a Bus Driver for Pierce Transit where he worked for almost 27 years until he retired in 2017 Mark had several passions. He loved baseball, he loved helping others in need, playing with Brooklyn, working in the yard, history and theology. Mark is preceded in death by his parents Jean and George Schultz, he is survived by his wife Lisa Schultz, his children; Gretchen, Jennifer, Katherine, Heather, Jonathon, and Stephanie. He also considered Stephanie , Scott, Charlyn, and Chauntel his children. Services will be held August 25, 2018 @ 10:00AM 7914 112th St E - Puyallup, Wa. 98373
