Judy Wolfe

Proverbs 31:10- who can find a virtuous woman for her price is far above rubies. Gate City - Judy Begley Wolfe 69, of Gate City, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at her residence. Judy was born in Kingsport, TN on January 30, 1947 to the late Joe W. and Jo Begley of Fort Blackmore, Va. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many. She was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ and was a member of Midway Baptist Church, Gate City, VA. Judy was preceded in death by her loving husband of 41 years, Johnny R. Wolfe; infant daughter Nicole Leigh Wolfe; father and mother-in-law, N.D. and Myrtle Wolfe. Left to cherish her memory is her son, Jason B. Wolfe; grandson Byron Wolfe and his mother Brandy Wolfe Mullins; sisters Ann Sawyer and husband Norman, Lyn Darnell and husband Tim; brother, Stevie Begley and wife Anna; sister-in-law, Judy Lawson and husband Ray; brother-in-law, Jim Wolfe and wife Bobbie; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 11 AM to 1 PM on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at Scott County Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow in the chapel with Pastor Todd Jennings and Coy Butler officiating. Graveside service will follow at Holston View Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Carol Pierson for her loving care; and Dr. Elizabeth Palmer and Wellmont Hospice.
