Justin Roberts

Justin Cole Roberts 24, of Gray went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at Holston Valley Medical Center. Justin graduated from Daniel Boone High School as Valedictorian in 2010, following high school he received a Bachelor's Degree from East Tennessee State University. He served an internship in the center of excellence in sport science and coach education where he trained Olympic athletes. Justin especially enjoyed the outdoors and activities such as hiking and fitness training. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Grover Coffman. Survivors include his parents, Gary and Cindy Roberts; sister, Ginger Roberts; Paternal grandmother, Ann Coffman; maternal grandparents, Mac and Lola McDuff; girlfriend and soulmate, Megan Earls; special friends, Michael Deel, Justin Runion, and Stacey Jones; along with several aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends. The family will receive friends from 5 PM to 8 PM on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home downtown, Kingsport. A funeral service will follow in the chapel with Pastor Danny Maness officiating. Graveside services will be held at 3:30 PM on Sunday, June 12, 2016 at Beulah Community Cemetery with Cody Coffman, Mike Coffman, Michael Deel, Justin Runion, Adam Wedemeyer, Larry Rhoton, and Wesley Rhoton serving as pallbearers. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 3:15 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105. Carter-Trent Funeral Home downtown, Kingsport is serving the Roberts family.
