Dennis "Kaz" Thomas Kazmer

Dennis Thomas Kazmer was born December 7th, 1959 in East Chicago, Indiana. He was raised and resided in Hammond, Indiana most of his life, until he moved to Graham, Washington with his wife in 2016. He peacefully passed away with his loving wife, his service dog Wicket, family and friends by his side on November 17, 2018. Dennis was a graduate of Gavit High School in Hammond, Indiana. He worked as an auditor for Saint Gobain in Dolton, Illinois. He retired with 25 years of service. He is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Ann Kazmer . He is survived by his beloved wife, Kimberley Kazmer; his sister Shirlie (George) Obis of Mokena, Illinois. His beautiful children, Danelle (Kyle) Walton of Austin, Texas, Dustin Kazmer ( Megan and future baby Kazmer) of Griffith, Indiana, Devon Kazmer of Austin, Texas, William T. Gornik III of Merrillville, Indiana, Walker J Gornik of Merrillville, Indiana. His beautiful grandchildren, Reid Spencer Walton and Quinn Julia Walton of Austin Texas. All his cousins, nieces and nephews in Indiana; Willis and Cheryle O’Brien, mother and father-in-law who graciously and unselfishly helped care for Dennis the last three years. He was loved by all who knew him and will be deeply and forever missed. The family respectfully requests donations to me made in Dennis’s name to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in lieu of flowers.
