She was born in Hiltons, Virginia and resided in Kingsport the majority of her life. Teressa retired from O'Charley's in Kingsport after 13 years of service. She enjoyed her family, canning from the garden, and making apple butter. One of her greatest joys was cooking at Thanksgiving for her family…it was her special day. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and and Ruby Bright; sisters, Sue Pippin and Margaret Crawford; brothers, Douglas Bright and Joe (Buddy) Bright along with her first husband, Ollie M. Shadeed, Jr. Teressa is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Vernon; a daughter, Robin (Mark) Eisenbise; sons, David (Ellen) Shadeed, Eddie (Geri) Shadeed, and Chad (Rosemary) Smith; a step-son, Beau Shadeed; her grandchildren, Tiffany Eisenbise, Travis Eisenbise, Zak Foster, Michael Shadeed, Rachel (Tom) Keel, Matt (Emily) Shadeed, Ally Shadeed and fiancé, Will Garner, Molly Smith, and Abby Smith; great grandchildren, Megan Grace Keel and Bear Gibson Shadeed; a loving sister, Patsy Bright Hood and companion, Ronnie Roberts; sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Sargent and Carol Schmidt along with her four legged friends, Laura Bel, Oliver, Birdie, Bandit, and a host of co-workers from O'Charley's; her special caregivers, and from hospice, Joanie and Rebecca, several nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday (May 3, 2016) at First Baptist Church, Church Circle. A funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday (May 3, 2016) at 7 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Church Circle with Pastor Benny Mauk, officiating. Eulogies will be given by Richard Tate, Tiffany Eisenbise, and Travis Eisenbise. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday (May 4, 2016) at 10 a.m. at East Lawn Memorial Park with her grandsons serving as pallbearers. Family and friends attending the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery at 9:50 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Riverside Avenue Baptist Church Childrens Ministry, 966 Riverside Avenue, Kingsport, TN 37660 or to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105 ( www.stjude.org/donate).
