Shirley Sue Ledford

Shirley Sue Ledford, 65, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, March 3, 2015. She is survived by her children, Sharlene, Sharlotte, Shaunn and Joe Thomas Ingold, II; brothers, Steve & John; Grandchildren, Stephen and Jake Dodd, Raider Keenan, Sierra Smith, Emilee Dennis, Joe Thomas Ingold III, Mary Jane, Lily and Charlotte and great-grandchild, Hunter Dennis. Shirley moved from Illinois to Bradenton, where she was very active in several organizations and was editor of monthly publications. She was involved with the Korean War Veterans Association, Elks Lodge, Moose of Anna Maria Island, Sons of Italy and Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States. She helped to publish monthly newsletters for the Elks Lodge and the Korean War Veterans Association. She organized all information received and made it informative, interesting and fun to read! She was also a Guardian ad Litem for the Safe Children Coalition. All through life, from day to day, we struggle to be better. Don’t know if we’ll ever find someone better than you, Mom.
