Frances Rogers Todd
January 8th, 1932 - March 13th, 2015
Frances Ann Rogers Todd went to be with her Lord on Friday, March 13th, 2015, in Casa Mora Rehabilitation and Nursing Home in Bradenton, FL. She was 83 years old. Frances was born in Richmond, KY on January 8th, 1932, to Robert and Cynda Rogers. She attended college in KY, and worked as a bookkeeper in Jacksonville, FL until she married Joe Todd in August 1974. Frances enjoyed traveling to many special places with Joe throughout their 40 years of marriage. Frances couldn’t compete with Joe’s pecan pies, but she could make a pound cake that was a close second! Frances had an infectious laugh like none other, and could always make us smile with a good joke. Frances worked as a volunteer for many years at Manatee Memorial Hospital. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Bradenton. Frances was involved in taking flowers from church on Monday mornings to members that were in nursing homes. It was an encouragement to her to be on the receiving end of this ministry over the past year. Frances is survived by her husband, Joe Todd, and 4 step children, Joe Todd Jr., Joy Wyman, Jenny Nash, and John Todd. She has 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held in the future. Condolences can be sent to Joe Todd at 24 Walnut Hill St, Norman, OK, 73072.
