Ival "Dovie" Johnson

Ival "Dovie" Johnson 76, passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at her daughters home in Orlando, Florida. Ival is preceded in death by her husband, Dean Johnson; parents, Frances and Marvin Spears; and one brother, John Spears. She is survived by her daughters, Tammy Sharp and fiancé Ty Butler of Orlando, FL, and Dawn Lambert and husband Jim of Nashville, TN; son, Drew Johnson and wife, Jamie of Clearwater, FL; brothers, Clay Spears and wife Pam of Plantation FL and Kenneth Spears of St. Petersburg FL; granddaughters, Allysa Johnson, Michelle Tyre and husband Ben; great-grandaughter, Hailey Tyre; stepsons, Gregory Johnson and Jerry Johnson; nephews, Christopher Spears, Nathan Spears, Shane Spears, and Derik Spears; aunt, Eileen Reese; along with numerous cousins. The family will receive friends from 6pm to 8pm on Monday, January 22, 2018 at Scott County Funeral Home. Graveside services will be conducted at 11am on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at Holston View cemetery with Pastor Layton Bentley officiating. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the funeral home by 10:30am to go in procession to the cemetery. Carter-Trent/Scott County Funeral Home is serving the Johnson family.
