Tommy Joe Graham
July 8th, 1952 - March 24th, 2016
Tommy Joe Graham, 63, of Gate City, passed away unexpectedly (Thursday March 24th, 2016). He was born and has lived in Scott County all of his life. He retired from Eastman Chemical Company after 30 years of service. He loved his family very much. He was preceded in death by his parents, Milburn Chatman Graham and Edith Mae Sims Graham; four sisters, Dorothy Moody, Bertha Carter, Berline Hensley and Pauline Graham; four brothers, Noah Edward Graham, Charles Graham, Earl Graham and Ray Graham. He is survived by his sons, Tommy Joe Graham Jr, Brandon Graham and wife Nicole and Shawn Graham; sisters, Kathy Jean Robinson and husband Larry, Brenda Shaeffer and husband Wayne and Jeanette Saul; very special sister and friend, Sue Ella Bright; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 2 until 4pm Friday (April 1st, 2016) at Scott County Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 4:30pm at Hermon United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Ronnie Horne and Rev. Rex McMurray officiating. Pallbearers will be Larry Robinson, Robert Graham, Gary Graham, Noah McMurray, Mike Graham and Nick Brown.
