Donald J. Miller, 80, of Bradenton, FL passed away unexpectedly Fri, Jan. 1, 2016. He was born on Dec. 19, 1935 in Marietta, a son of Ben and Dorothy Haas Miller. Don retired from Broughton’s Dairy Plant in 1998. He and his wife Kate moved to FL and made their home in Veranda Springs in 2002. On June 7, 1962 he married Katherine Henderhan Binegar who preceded him in death on July 18, 2006. He is survived by two step-daughters Barbara Fulton (Roger) of Marietta and Linda Berg of Bradenton, FL; five grandchildren Candy Nelson, Patty Venham (Mark), Kenny Fulton, all of Marietta, Randy Stalnaker (Amy) of Port Charlotte, FL, Matthew Stalnaker of St. Petersburg, FL; 10 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren; one brother-in-law John Henderhan (Doris) of Marietta; and his beloved dog Dillon. He was preceded in death by his parents, his grandmother Louise Miller, brother Dale Miller of Marietta, son-in-law Larry Berg, and great-granddaughter Erica Paige Stalnaker of FL. He was a member of Reno Christian Church, a graduate of Marietta High School class of 1954, and he was a Veteran of the U.S. Army. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
