Michael Dewey Woodham, I of Myakka City, FL passed away peacefully at the age of 66 on January 22, 2016. Mike was born in Nashville, Tennessee on April 18, 1949 to Dewey and Helen Woodham. Mike was the second of ten children. Preceded in death by his parents. Survived by: The love of his life for over 36 years, Jill Wilson Woodham. Son Michael Dewey (Michelle) Woodham, II and two grandsons, Preston Woodham and Barrett Woodham. Daughter Krystal Elaine Parks and husband Donnie David Parks, granddaughter Macie Parks, granddaughter Taylor May Smith, and grandson Dewey Parks. Daughter Rebecca (Shawn) Gubody and grandson Austin. Brothers and sisters: Donna Woodham King, Susan Woodham Bassler, Sammy Woodham, Kurtis Woodham, Robbie Woodham Miller, Pamela Woodham, Richard Woodham, Beverly Woodham Ellis, and Patricia Woodham Rehfeldt. Over 60 beloved nieces, nephews, and in-laws. Mike was retired from Manatee County School Transportation. Mike will be dearly missed by family and friends. He was never happier than when he was fishing with his grandchildren. "If you give a man a fish; you have fed him for a day. Teach a man to fish; and you have fed him for a lifetime," he often quoted. A Celebration of His Life will be held on Sunday, January 31, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at the Woodham residence.
