Kirby Paul Barrack, 39, was the softness and magic in his family's life. He was a wonderful son to his mom and dad and a thoughtful father to his son Casey Paul. He loved to help anyone who needed him. He taught his son the value of hard work and to save money. Kirby never could pass up a bed that needed to be made, a dish that needed to be washed or a pair of socks too dirty to wear one more day. He believed in hard work and proved it every day. Kirby's friends meant the world to him. He would do whatever was required for a friend who needed help. Kirby never met a little child or a dog who didn't love him. And he loved them too. Kirby battled his devils all alone. He kept his feelings to himself. He shared very little, even to the ones he loved most. His biggest demon was alcohol; his second demon was drugs. When the two were combined and a gun was added, it destroyed someone we loved. It was no one's fault, it just was. He leaves behind his son Casey Paul Barrack; parents Jim and Linda Means; sister Lisa Yarrow (Peter); and his brother Brian A. Barrack. He also leaves his nephews Tristen and Tanner Barrack; his niece Brianna Barrack; his aunt Betsy Parker (Jack); his uncle Paul Thomas (Edie); and many friends. Please come to the memorial service for our son, brother, father and friend 6 p.m. Monday, May 16th at Griffith-Cline Funeral Home, 720 Manatee Ave. W., Bradenton, FL 34205, with the Reverend Sharon-Elizabeth James officiating.
