June 8th, 1962 - October 28th, 2016
Dawn Leslie Williams Johnson, 54, of Bradenton passed away on October 28, 2016 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was a kindergarten teacher at Bashaw Elementary School, Bradenton. Her hobbies included sewing, jewelry making & singing. Her passion in life was teaching children. Dawn was a member of The Bridge Church where she was active with the Children's Ministry. She is survived by her parents, Dr. Donald & Barbara Williams; son, Tyler Johnson; brothers, Mark Williams (Jennifer) & Kyle Williams (Tammy); sister, Colleen Williams Pope (Buddy); and nine nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held at 10 AM on November 5, 2016, at The Bridge Church in Palma Sola Bay. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Bridge Church Children's Ministry or His Girls Discipleship.
