Church Hill - John Douglas Greene, 44 of Church Hill, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 4, 2015 at Holston Valley Medical Center. He was born in Kingsport and had lived in Church Hill for most of his life. He was preceded in death by his mother and step father, Jane and Carson Larkins; his father, Bill Greene. John is survived by his daughter, Paisley Greene; step-mother, Pam Greene; sisters, Anissa Greene and Angie Mann; nieces, Whitney Roop, Jessie Amyx; nephew, Logan Mann. A celebration of life service and releasing of balloons will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Carter-Trent Funeral Home in Church Hill. Eulogies will be given by family and friends. Carter-Trent Funeral Home, Church Hill is serving the Greene family.
