John Harry Haus, 85, of Bradenton, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2017. John was born January 26, 1932 in East Pembroke, New York, to Clarence and Helen Haus (née Ernest). Their family moved to Bradenton around 1938-1940. John was a Radio Operator in the United States Army and served in the Korean War. He worked for Manatee County for 49 years as a Records Clerk in the Circuit Court, and he was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Bradenton. He was predeceased by both his parents, his wife Charlotte (1998), 1 brother, and 1 sister. He is survived by his sister Shirley Morris, several nieces and nephews, and many dear friends. A memorial service will be held at the First United Methodist Church of Bradenton at 4:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 11, 2017. The service will be officiated by Pastor H. Clark Edwards. Anyone who wishes, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church Memorial Fund or the VA. His final resting place will be at the Sarasota National Cemetery.
