Pamela Jean Banks

It is with great sadness that the family of Pamela J. Banks announce her passing on May 26, 2017. She was a wonderful mother and a dear friend to all. Pam was born November 16, 1960 in Bradenton, FL. She is the daughter of Russell and Karen Reagan of Ellenton, FL. Family and friends were Pam's love and joy. Pam is survived by her son, Parker Banks; mother, Karen Reagan; sister, Robin Reagan; nephew, Samuel Petroff; and many other loving relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Russell Reagan, and sister, Jan Reagan. She worked as a Project Coordinator for Shroeder Manatee Ranch Land Management for many years. She enjoyed her work and work place. Pam loved all things vintage. Her favorite pastime was searching out treasures. She loved the thrill of the hunt. Pam was a master couponer and was able to share her wealth of knowledge about a good bargain to all who were interested. Throughout the community, she was actively involved in volunteering for many years as well. The family asks that you spend time with your children, take a walk on the beach with loved ones and make a toast to enduring friendships, lifelong and beyond. That is what Pam would have wished. A memorial service will be held at Griffith-Cline Funeral Home, 720 Manatee Ave. W., Bradenton, FL, on Friday, June 2nd. Visitation is at 1:30 pm and a service at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking to make a donation to the American Heart Association or St. Jude's Hospital.
