Donald E Wilson

Donald Eugene Wilson, 90, of Bradenton died on June 1, 2017. He was a veteran of the US Navy, having served during WWII, the Korean Conflict and Vietnam War in a career spanning almost a quarter of a century. He also was retired from the US Postal Service, where he worked as both a clerk and a carrier supervisor for a total of 19 years. He is survived by Janet, his loving wife of 41 years, as well as his sons Donald, Jr., Charles and daughter Patricia Bussell. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday afternoon, June 4th from 3 – 5 PM at Griffith-Cline Funeral Home, 720 Manatee Avenue West, Bradenton. Interment will be at Sarasota National Cemetery on Monday, June 5th at 11:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Tidewell Hospice or Meals on Wheels.
