Ronald Edwin Brownell was born 15 March 1929 in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Arthur Brownell and Annie Catherine Smith. He had 4 older brothers: Arthur, Albert, Stanley, Kenneth and 1 younger sister, Jean. He quietly passed away at his home in Enumclaw, Washington 2 April 2020. Ron attended the University of Wyoming and graduated as an electrical engineer. Upon graduation he was hired by the Boeing Company in Seattle, Washington. He moved to Enumclaw, Washington, where he raised his family. He worked for Boeing until he retired 39.92399 years later. He made his home in Enumclaw where he lived until he passed away. While going to the university he met, fell in love with, and married his eternal companion, Alice Baird. They were married 19 December 1950 in the Idaho Falls Temple. They enjoyed 69 wonderful years together and were blessed with six children: Joyce Evans (Mark), Kaye Brady (Doug), Lyle Brownell (Anna), Marie Adams (Alma), Noreen Ruud (Rocky) and Gayle Butler (Tracey). He is survived by his spouse (Alice), 6 children, 37 grandchildren, 67 great grandchildren, and one sister, Jean Stoker of Burley, Idaho. Ron loved the Gospel, his Savior, and his family. He enjoyed the mountains, the ocean, and the great outdoors. He loved camping, hiking, clamming, and any other activity that could be done with his family. It can be rightly said that there are few men that were more dedicated, faithful, humble, and loving. He was loved and will be missed by all who knew him. Until we meet again beyond the veil, may he rest in peace.
