Orville "JR" Perkins

ORVILLE (JR) PERKINS Kingsport- Orville (JR) Perkins was born in Lebanon, New Hampshire and had lived in TN for the last fifteen years with fourteen of those being with his wife, Regina and family. He was of the Mormon faith and had attended the LDS church, Rotherwood Ward. He was preceded in death by his father, Orville Perkins and mother, Rosella Ashley Perkins. In addition to his loving wife, Regina Perkins, he is survived by his sons, Gabril Perkins of the home, Bradley Cole and wife Krystal of Laramie, WY, and Justin Dykes and Bria Simpson of Johnson City, and Brandon Perkins of New Hampshire; his daughters, Pearl Rose Courtemanche of Surgoinsville and Laura Leonard and Eric Guidry of Gray. He has two grand-daughters Libby and Zoe and two grand-sons Andrew and Calan along with his special little buddy, Carver Jo; six brothers, David,Mike,Donald,Richard,Arthur and Stevie and their spouses Sherry, Bonnie, Linda and Rachel; JR is also survived by in-laws, John and Lynda Short, Lee McMillan and Barbara Dolen, Tony and Angel McMillan, Robert and Tammy Jarvis, Daniel Short with Betsy Compton, JJ short, David and Ashlee McMillan Kirk, Wiilie and Rachel Clark along with several nieces and nephews. The family would like to send a special thank you to the amazing nurses and doctors at JCMC ICU and those at the Waters Rehab Center for all the great care afforded JR and family. A military graveside service will be conducted on Thursday (December 21, 2017) by the American Legion Color Guard at 11:30 a.m. at Mountain Home National Cemetery. Carter-Trent Funeral Home, downtown Kingsport is serving the Perkins family.
