Phyllis June Tolliver Turley, born June 28, 1916 at Taylorville, Illinois passed away on January 12, 2019 at Sunnyside Health and Rehabilitation Center in Sarasota, Florida. She received her R.N. degree from St. Johns Hospital School of Nursing in Springfield, Illinois and married Herbert L. Turley in 1940. He preceded her in death in December, 2014. She is survived by 5 sons, Rodger D. Turley of Garland, Texas, Carl W. Turley (Janice) of Roswell, Georgia, H. Lee Turley II (Lora) of Chatham, Illinois and Ft. Myers, Florida, Phillip C. Turley (Phyllis) of Centerton, Arkansas, and Bruce K. Turley of St. Petersburg, Florida. Also surviving are, 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 5 great, great grandchildren. She has previously lived in Springfield, Illinois, Marco Island, Florida, and Naples, Florida. She was an active member of the United Methodist Church and was most recently a member of Trinity Methodist Church in Sarasota. A memorial service will be held August 17, 2019 at 10:00 am, Southern View Chapel, 4500 S 2nd St, Springfield, IL 62703
