Kathleen Joan Mercer

Kathleen Joan Mercer was born December 22, 1947 to Ursla and Karl Powers in Cambridge, MA. She passed away peacefully Puyallup, Washington on April 26, 2022. Kathy grew up in Tewksbury, MA and graduated from Tewksbury Memorial High School. She was a world traveler and met her husband Bruce Mercer in Germany. Bruce and Kathy were married for 48 years. Kathy was preceded in death by her Parents Karl and Ursla Powers, Sister Donna Powers and her Brother Karl Joseph Powers. Kathy is Survived by her husband Bruce, son Justin and granddaughter Lauren, son Trevin and daughter-in-law Jaime, grandson Jackson, granddaughter McKenna, brother John and sister-in-law Debbie, brother Edward and sister-in-law Donna, sister Patti and brother-in-law Steve, brother Stephen, sister Karla and brother-in-law Bill and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Kathy was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved Christmas and Christmas music. Kathy purchased hundreds and hundreds of new toys throughout every year to donate to children in need at Christmas. She and Bruce volunteered countless hours delivering food, preparing sandwiches and picking up donations for the Orting and All Saints Catholic Church food banks. She loved her family and God most of all.
