George Richard Berg

George Richard Berg, 84, of Bonney Lake Washington, peacefully passed away on September 15th, 2023 surrounded by his loved ones. George was born on July 27th, 1939 to parents George and Florence Berg in Ashland, Wisconsin. After High school he enlisted in the Army which brought him to Washington state where he met the love of his life Jean Goodrow. They married in 1958 and went on to have three children-Richard, Cathy and Lynn. He ran a successful drywall business for many years. George was preceded in death by his wife Jean, grandson Richard Jr. and brothers David and Ernie. He is survived by son Richard, daughters Cathy Ruyle and Lynn Lowe (Jason).Sister Betty Laabs and grandchildren Jason and Emily Berg, Alecia Eggerud and Candice Dickey, Kevin, Derek and Christopher Wolfe and 14 great grandchildren. There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday October 21st at 3:00 pm at the Buckley Eagles 29021 WA-410, Buckley, WA 98321.
