Raden G. Courtney

Raden Courtney, 62, of Bradenton passed away on August 22, 2023 at home. He was born August 20, 1961 in the Panama Canal Zone, South America, moving to the United States with his family two years later. Raden was a real character, one minute you would want to scream at him, the next minute you'd want to hug and kiss him. Through all of Raden's trials he had a heart of gold. He was always willing to help. He helped provide transportation for his sister at a real time of need. Raden was proud to serve in the National Guard. Raden is survived by his sisters, Kathy Simon (David), Mary Hasting (Craig), brother, Jim Courtney (Peggy), sister-in-law Crystal Bartholomew, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Raden is proceeded in death by his wife, Debrah Courtney, which now they will be togther forever. Father, Curtis Courtney Jr., mother, Amy Courtney, and brother, Larry Courtney. A celebration of Raden's life will be held at Bennett Park PAV: 400 Cypress Blvd. Bradenton, FL 34208 on Sunday, Septmeber 17th. at 3:00 P.M. Family and friends are invited to come togther to honor his memory, share stories, and to comfort one another.
