Amanda LeAnn Jennings
October 27th, 1969 - January 19th, 2014
Amanda LeAnn Jennings, 44 passed away peacefully on January 19, 2014 at her home in Nickelsville, Virginia. She had health problems since the age of 6. Amanda was a Christian and wanted everybody to know her Savior, Jesus. Amanda was so full of life, even though she was sick most of her life. So many people have said what an inspiration she was to them. She was so forgiving and always wanted to know how everybody else was. Everybody that she met, loved her. She loved her family and friends….. Amanda is survived by; Ann Stallard Jennings, mother, Tina and Mehmet Akyuz, sister and brother-in-law, and John-Morgan Jennings Akyuz, nephew, all from Nickelsville and a very special cousin, Norman Jennings and his wife Anita from Norton along with several aunts and cousins. She also had friends that she considered her second family: Belva, Wayne (fiancé), Miranda, Daniel and Issac Hutson and Charity Howard. She is preceded in death by: James E Jennings, father, MR and Sarah Stallard, maternal grandparents, Dungannon, and John and Lula Jennings, paternal grandparents Ft. Blackmore. .Celebration of her life will be Sunday, January 26 2014. The family will be receiving friends from 12noon till 3pm at Scott County Funeral Home in Weber City, Virginia. A funeral service will follow at 3 pm with Pastor Larry Beavers officiating. The graveside service will be Monday, January 27, 2014 at 1 PM at in Holston View Cemetery in Weber City, Virginia. We will be releasing balloons to celebrate Amanda's spirit being set free. Pallbearers: Wayne Hutson (fiancé), Daniel and Issac Hutson, John-Morgan Akyuz, Jon Pierson, Gary Parks, Norman Jennings, Mehmet Akyuz In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the New People's Bank, 663 E. Jackson Street, Gate City, VA 24251 to the Amanda Jennings Memorial Fund C/O Ann Jennings.
