Louisville – Lana C. Gaddie, 75, passed away on Monday, January 18, 2021. She was born in Harlan, Kentucky on August 5, 1945 to the late Owen Travis Combs,Sr. and Louanna Noe Combs. She was a teacher at Klondike Lane Elementary School in Louisville and was a member of Hurstborne Christian Church. Lana attended Harlan High School and graduated from Waggener High School. She attended EKU when it was a teacher's college and received both her bachelor's degree and master's degree. She is survived by her daughter, Lanae’ (William) Orias, Frankfort; her brothers, Travis (Alice) Combs, Shelbyville, and Clark (Gabrielle) Combs, Louisville; her grandchildren, Lotheda Orias, David Orias, Delaney Orias and Blayne Orias. Two nieces, Cammie (Jimmy) Krieger, Megan (Foster) Northrop and Five Great Nieces and One Great Nephew, as well as her caregiver, Carla Ryan, Harrodsburg. She proceeded in death by her ex husband of 41 years, Frank Gaddie of Louisville. Private services will be held at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd.
