Mable Louise Sorah

Mable Louise Allen Sorah of Kingsport former of Coopers, West Virginia, passed away on August 28, 2013 at her home. She was born in Bluestone, WV on April 21, 1920 to Noel Tarney Adams and Gertrude Byrd Adams. In addition to her parents and two sisters, she was preceded in death by her first husband, William Frank Allen in 1976 and second husband, W.C. (Bill) Sorah in 1994. Mrs. Sorah is survived by her daughter, Jo Ann Allen Miles of Kingsport; son, Charles Grant Allen Sr. and wife, Barbara of Hendersonville, TN; three grandchildren, Deanne Miles Weber & husband Duffy of Cincinnati, OH, Charles Allen Jr. & wife, Amber of Kingsport, Robin Lynn Allen of Hendersonville, TN and a great granddaughter, Alexis Allen of Kingsport. The family will receive friends at Craven Shires Funeral Homes, 3431 Coal Heritage Road, Bluefield, WV. (304) 589-3860. Funeral services will be in the funeral home with Rev. W.D. Hasty, Pastor of First Presbyterian Church, Bluefield officiating. Music will be by special nieces Judie Holly and Rebecca Allen, accompanied by Harold Brown. Burial will be at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Bluefield, WV. The family wishes to thank Kym Meade, Margaret Smith and Tina Reece for their loving care and our good friends and neighbors.
