Doyle Anthony "Tony" Riddell
January 7th, 1954 - June 20th, 2022
Doyle Anthony “Tony” Riddell, 68, husband of Brenda Riddell, passed away on Monday, June 20, 2022. He was born in Lexington, Kentucky on January 7, 1954 to the late Joe O. Riddell and Mary Elizabeth Richards Arnold. He was a truck driver with Harrod Concrete and a Veteran of the US Marine Corp. Tony was a Vietnam War Vet and he left the Marine Corp as a Corporal. Everyone loved him and he enjoyed helping anyone and everyone but never asked for anything in return. Horseback riding, fishing, and hunting were his favorite pastimes. Family meant everything to him especially spending time with his grandson and listening to his sons play music. Tony was the perfect husband, father, and grandfather. In addition to his wife of 43 years, he is survived by his sons, Jason Travis Anthony Riddell, Versailles, and Jesse Taylor (Theresa) Riddell, Versailles; his sister, Julie Ann Riddell (Gary) LaPorta, Hebron; and his grandson, Wyatt Anthony Riddell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Billie Lynn Riddell Lacefield. Graveside service will be held at 12:00pm on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Rev. Julie LaPorta officiating. Serving as casketbearers will be Jesse Riddell, Travis Riddell, Daron Fritts, Corey Lacefield, Eric Slugantz, and Gary LaPorta. Visitation will be held from 10:00am until 12:00pm at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Clark Legacy Center to help the family with the cost of funeral expenses.
