Judy Kay Brown Barber

Frankfort – Judy Kay Brown Barber, 75, widow of Norman Gene Barber, passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2023. She was born in Waddy, Kentucky on May 20, 1947 to the late Phillip and Elva Murphy Brown. She was the Branch Manager for the State of Kentucky and a member of North Frankfort Baptist Church. Judy loved crocheting, going to goodwills, yard sales, and drinking Diet Coke from McDonalds. She is survived by her children, Debra (Joe) Buckler, Frankfort, Phillip (Susan) Ward, Frankfort, and Maranda (Donald) Perkins, Lawrenceburg; her brothers, Jerry Wayne Brown, Frankfort, and John Brown, IN; and her grandchildren, Brooke Clayton, Elizabeth Cummins, Jacob Ward, and Dylan Ward. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd with Bro. David Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Serving as casketbearers will be Phillip Ward, Jacob Ward, Joe Giles, Donald Perkins, Kalvin Murphy, and Stephen O-Connell. Visitation will be held from 11:00am until the time of service on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bluegrass Hospice Care.
