Madleen Parker Perkins, 76, passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2023. The wife of Wayne Perkins, Madleen was born February 19, 1946, to the late Charles and Ruth Conway Parker in Midway, Kentucky. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, as well as a dedicated member of Forks of Elkhorn Baptist Church. In addition to her husband, Wayne Perkins of Frankfort, Madleen is survived by her children, Lisa Taber of Ohio, Michael Perkins of Frankfort, and Larry (Denise) Perkins of Frankfort; her sister, Barbara Hisle of Mt. Sterling; grandchildren, Shelly Willoughby, Dylan Taber, Jacob Perkins, Eric Taber, Kyle Perkins, Ryan Perkins, Reagan Perkins, Haley Perkins, and Truman Perkins; and 4 great grandchildren. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00am, Monday, February 20, 2023, at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd, Frankfort, with Rev. Todd Lester officiating. Burial will follow at Frankfort Cemetery, with Madleen’s grandsons serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 3:00pm until 5:00pm on Sunday, February 19, 2023, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests Memorial Contributions be made to Forks of Elkhorn Baptist Church, 495 Duckers Rd, Midway, KY 40347.
