Theodore M. "Ted" Hunt Jr.
July 25th, 1934 - March 23rd, 2021
Theodore ""Ted"" M. Hunt, Jr., age 86, of Venice, FL, passed away on March 23, 2021. He was born on July 25, 1934 in Everett Massachusetts to Theodore and Helen Hunt. Ted moved to Methuen in 1976. He relocated to The Village at Riverwalk in North Port in 1997 and to Harbor Chase in Venice this past July. For all of his life he worked as a painting contractor. He owned and operated the Theodore M. Hunt Co., Inc. an industrial painting company. Ted served on or chaired the Board of Trustees at First Church, Congregational, Methuen, MA, for many, many years. He was a proud and active member of the Everett Rotary Club and honored to be a member of the Mass Charitable Mechanic Association, an organization founded by Paul Revere in 1795. Surviving family members include his wife of 64 years, H. Corinne Hunt of Venice, FL; daughter Kimberly C. Hunt and son-in-law David S. Pipe of Venice, FL; grandchildren Isaac Hunt Mingus, Samuel Hunt Mingus, Fredrick Eric Davis, and Aine Pierre. He was preceded in death by parents Theodore M. Hunt, Sr. and Helen Gertrude Hunt (nee Crosby); sister Thelma Gertrude Feldoff. He was also preceded in death by Lucinda A. Lonergan (nee Ward) and Michael K. Ward who were cousins Ted and Corrine raised as their own after their parents passed away. Visitation will be on Sunday, March 28, 2021 from 2 - 4 pm with a brief service at 3 pm. Memorial donations should be directed to the ALS Association of Florida https:www.als.org/florida or a charity of your choice.
