Shirley Ann Shelton
September 5th, 1938 - January 21st, 2024
Shirley Ann Shelton, 85, passed away on January 21, 2024 after a long illness. She was a beloved mother, aunt and friend who will be dearly miss by all who knew her. Shirley was born on September 5, 1938 in Versailles, Kentucky where she spend her formative years. Later she moved to Lexington. Throughout her life being a single mother she held various jobs of accounting, secretarial and retail management. More than anything, Shirley was devoted mother to her son Jeff Alan (Betty) Shelton, of Lexington. In addition to her son, she is survived by her sister, Mary Fox, of Versailles and loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Julius and Lucy Shelton and her sister, Bonnie Henderlight. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her. Private family services will be held at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Road, Frankfort. www.clarklegacycenter.com
