Polly Joanna (Jojo) Anderson

Polly Joanna (Jojo) Anderson, 66, passed away Monday April 22, 2024 at 1:50 am Frankfort Regional Medical Center. She was born October 27, 1957 in Frankfort. Joanna was the daughter of Arlas Joe and Wanda Lee (Hughes) Anderson. She graduated from Franklin Co HS and attended UK College of Business. She was employed with KY Dept of Education for 19 years. She loved antique malls, classic movies, plays, musicals, making jewelry & crafting, visiting KY historic sites and decorating her home for holidays. She would say she was born in the wrong era. Joanna enjoyed her cats Chutney, Pyewacket, Poundpurry & Zephyr and just being silly with her nieces and nephews. She was our ‘family historian’. So many memories and laughs we can cherish. Joanna is survived by sister Laura (Mark) Robinson, Linton IN; brothers Ben Anderson, TX and Rob Anderson, Frankfort; nephew Crit (Aya) Robinson, Bloomfield IN; nieces Breck (Tommy) Lawler, French Lick IN; Sophie (Stan) Karaica, Pittsburgh PA; Salena Anderson, TX; nephew Augustus Anderson, TX; several loved cousins & childhood friends from Lynn Camp School.
