SHANNON DEWAYNE SMITH Kingsport- Shannon Dewayne Smith, 44 of Kingsport, went home to be with the Lord unexpectedly on Thursday (March 22, 2018). He was a lifelong resident of Kingsport and attended Dobyns-Bennett High School. Shannon also attended Northeast State Community College. He worked in his family business, Smith's Drywall for many years. He attended Temple Baptist Church and enjoyed woodworking. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Diane Smith; a grandmother, Nano (Edna) Grissom. Shannon Smith is survived by his son, Sean Michael Inglett and wife, Leah Dalton Inglett; his granddaughter, Aliah Inglett; his brother, Brian Smith and wife, Ginger; his fiancé, Tina Suthers; mother of his son, Bethanne Inglett; nieces and nephews, Kasey (Logan) Smith, Nathaniel Smith, Chance Crawford, and Brianna Smith along with his fur baby, "Bubby". A visitation will take place on Wedneday (March 28, 2018) at Carter-Trent Funeral Home, downtown Kingsport from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. A funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday (March 28, 2018) at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Jerry Evans and Pastor Garland Tipton, officiating. A graveside service will follow the funeral at East Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Carter-Trent Funeral Home, P.O.
