Sandra Dykes Ball

Sandra Dykes Ball, age 70, of Church Hill, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Wellmont Hospice House of Bristol with her family by her side. She was a member of Liberty Primitive Baptist Church in Mt. Carmel. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend to all who knew her, and will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, C.E. and Kathleen Riner; infant brother, C.E. Riner, Jr; and great grandchild, Caden Hilderbrandt. She is survived by her 2 sons, Robin Dykes and wife, Becky, and Chris Dykes and wife, Sheila; daughter, Amy Belcher and husband, Tony; several grandchildren, Joshua Dykes, Summre Dykes, Joseph Belcher, Hannah Belcher, Ty Larkey, Payton Larkey, Joe McNeil, Ashley Pendergrass, Tyler Pendergrass and Erica Barlow; 7 great-grandchildren, Landon, Teagan, Emma, Addison, Brady, KayLea and Grayson; brother, Larry Riner and wife, Linda; several nieces and nephews; and special pet dog, Paco. The family would like to thank special neighbors, Sharon Morelock and Carol Collins for their continued love and support for Sandra during her declining health. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home in Church Hill. Funeral services will begin at 7:00 pm with Pastor Jeremiah Riner officiating. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at Mt. Mitchell Church Cemetery.
