Sandra Louise Davison

Sandra L. Carter Davison, 74, passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at her residence. Sandra was a woman of many talents. She enjoyed painting, singing, making jewelry, all of her Facebook friends, and Wednesdays with Brian's bowling buddies. She was born March 6, 1942, in Kingsport, TN, and was preceded in death by her late husband, George G. Carter. She is survived by her loving son and joy of her life, Brian Keith Carter; a special sister-in-law and caregiver, Billie Ann McMurray & husband, Eddie; sisters-in-law, Carolyn Carter, Helen Strickland & husband Ken; brother-in-law, Perry Carter & wife, Rose Ann. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, October 3, 2016 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home, downtown Kingsport. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Larry Stallard, Rev. Ken Strickland and Rev. Rodney Barton, officiating. Graveside services will be conducted at 10 A.M. on Tuesday, October 4, at the Gardner's Chapel Cemetery, Gate City, VA. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Carter-Trent Funeral Home, downtown Kingsport is serving the Davidson family.
