Lola Marie Ray
August 18th, 1928 - February 7th, 2018
Kingsport - Lola Marie Atkins Ray, 89 of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Life Care Center of Gray following a brief illness. She was a lifelong resident of Kingsport and was of the Pentecostal faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Ray. Lola is survived by her daughters, Wanda Haynes and husband Eddie, Beverly Neece and husband Doug, Cynthia Hartgrove and husband Jessie and Lisa Ray; sons, Billy Ray and wife Angie and Frankie Ray and wife Lisa; 19 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Phyllis Norris and Deloris Darnell; brother, Paul Atkins; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home, Kingsport. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Sunday, February 11, 2018 at East Lawn Memorial Park. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery at 10:55 a.m. Pallbearers will be grandsons. Carter-Trent Funeral Home, downtown Kingsport is serving the Ray family.
