Juanita Jones "Nita" Akers

Juanita Jones “Nita” Akers, 82, passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2020. A native of Woodford County, she was born on September 3, 1937 to the late Clarence Edward and Belle Sutton Jones. Nita was a member of Clear Creek Baptist Church and retired from Jack Kain Ford. She is survived by her children, Kaiajade Levi (Donnie Tincher), OH, Yetta (Randy) Stover, Versailles, Bruce Siegelman, Versailles, Myra Siegelman, Versailles, Fred (Katie) Siegelman, Versailles, and Meredith (Anthony) Vanover, Versailles; her brother; Tommy (Rita) Jones, Versailles; her grandchildren; Miriam, Michael, Ian, Hanna, Jarad, Becky, Michelle, Jessica, Scott, Jackie, Kasee, Brandon, Elizabeth, Amber, Rachel, Freddie, Walker, Cooper, Ethan, Logan, Landon, Evan, and Lincoln; her great-grandchildren; Jaylee, Taylor, McKenzie, Zita, Zoey, Cameron, Natalie, Blake, Luke, Corey, and Kaitie, Isabelle, D.J., Olivia, Halee, Ashlyn, and Malachi; her numerous nieces and nephews; and Gail Laubheimer who she thought of as a daughter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Doris Jean McGohon; her grandson, Brad; and her great-grandson, Noah. Graveside service will be held at 2:30pm on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at Rose Crest Cemetery with Rev. Dave Menser officiating. Serving as casketbearers will be Ethan Vanover, Logan Vanover, Brandon Hood, Jarad Stover, Freddie Siegelman, and Ian Obenshain. Honorary casketbearer is Glenn Crawford. Visitation will be held from 12:00pm until 2:00pm on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill.
