Jerry Crowe
May 28th, 1943 - July 16th, 2020
Jerry Crowe, 77, passed away, Thursday, July 16, 2020 at his home, surrounded by loved ones. A native of Woodford County, he was born May 28, 1943 to the late Bernice and Margaret Cosby Crowe. Jerry was a carpenter by trade and enjoyed nothing more than a good day of fly fishing. Jerry is survived by his two daughters, Cynthia Dawn Crowe "Cindy", FL and Marjorie Jeanette Crowe, Georgetown; a son Jerry Allen Crowe, Lexington; his special friend Golda Manning; six grandchildren, Joseph, Calyn Rose, Cami, Cari, Devin and Trey; and numerous loving nieces, nephews and extended family members. In addition to his parents, Bernice and Margaret Cosby Crowe, he was preceded in death by a cherished sister, Della Crowe, and his loyal dog, Goldy. A Funeral Service will be held 2:00pm, Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill, with Pastor Mark Dunn officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Crest Cemetery in Versailles. Dusty Reed, Paul Garcia, Kendall Cosby, David Stapp, Joseph Crowe and Jerry A. Crowe will serve as pallbearers. George White and Calyn Crowe will serve as honorary pallbearers. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11:30am until time of service at the funeral home.
