VERSAILLES- Geraldine Willoughby McGoldrick Croley, 89, passed away Friday, September 25, 2020. She was born in Woodford County, Kentucky to the late Benjamin and Bessie McCall Willoughby on October 17, 1930. Ms. Croley graduated from Versailles High School and attended Crump Business School. She retired as a Key Punch Operator for the KY Revenue Department and IBM. She bowled on teams in Frankfort, Lexington, and Elizabeth City, NC, and actively volunteered in each of her communities. She was always faithful to God and her Church, Versailles Baptist. Ms. Croley is survived by her son, Rick McGoldrick, Versailles; her step sons, Tom (Melanie) Croley, VA and Mark (Lisa) Croley, NC; her sister, Christine Cloyd, Versailles; her sister-in-laws, June and Juanita Willoughby; her grandchildren, Sarah (Dylan), Ben (Madison), and Maggie; and her step grandchildren Molly, Blake, Roy, Jack, Tye, and Evan. She was preceded in death by her brothers BJ, Earl, and Ray Willoughby; her first husband Richard McGoldrick in 1975; and her second husband Gene Croley in 2007. A Graveside service will be 2:30 PM Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Rev. Michael Cabel officiating.
