Johnny Ray Price

Johnny Ray Price, 74, of Kingsport went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 2, 2018 at Holston Valley Medical Center. Johnny retired from Eastman Chemical Co. in 1997 after 33 years. He was a member of Gravelly Baptist Church. Johnny was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and golfing. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be greatly missed. Johnny was preceded in death by his father, Henry Harrison Price; mother, Irene Thomas; infant brother, Terry Price; infant twin granddaughters, Megan and Morgan Price. Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years, Doris Price; son, Randy Price and wife Emily; daughter, Tina Nottingham and husband Wade; grandchildren, Jason Price, Blake Price, Lindsay Price, Cassidy Nottingham, Kennady Nottingham and Duncan Nottingham; step-granddaughter, Katie Black; brother, Henry Price and wife Pearly; half-sisters, Edna Antonio and Charlotte Belk; along with several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. The family will receive friends from 11am to 1pm on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at Gravelly Baptist Church. A funeral service will follow with Pastor David Salley officiating. Graveside services will follow at Oak Hill Memorial Park with friends serving as pallbearers.
