C.D. Patterson
March 22nd, 1927 - October 1st, 2018
C.D. Patterson 91, of Blountville went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 1, 2018 at Holston Valley Medical Center. C.D. served his country in the U.S. Army during the World War II and the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Colene Woods Patterson; second wife, Sarah Hughes Patterson; parents, James A. and Julia Patterson; brothers, James Mack Patterson, John A. Patterson, and Frank Patterson. Survivors include his brother, Charles Winston “Pat” Patterson; along with several nieces and nephews. A military graveside will be conducted at 1pm on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at Hermon United Methodist Church Cemetery with the American Legion Hammond Post #3/265 conducting the honors and Bro. Ed McClain officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. To send a condolence to the family please visit our website at www.cartertrent.com.
