Online Obituaries for Lexington Lexington - Denise Adele Peterson King York, 57, lifetime partner of William C. King, passed away Saturday November 21, 2015 at the Hospice Care Center in Lexington, KY. Denise was born in Lexington on May 30, 1958 to the late Bob and Helen York. She relocated to Cynthiana, KY where she graduated from Harrison County High School. Denise was married to the late Dennis L. Peterson. While Mr. Peterson served in the U.S. Air Force and stationed in Sacramento, CA, Denise was employed by Kaiser Permanente Hospital as a volunteer services coordinator. After relocating to Plattsburgh, NY, Denise was employed by V. Fraas as an office manager. After returning to Lexington, Denise married her present partner and love of her life, William C. King. Denise was the broker of York Realty. Denise was a member of both Tates Creek Christian and Andover Methodist Church. Survivors include her sister, Debra (Norton) Sudduth, brothers; Marty York, Teddy York, and Jeff York, step grandmother, Ethel Satterly, aunts; Juanita Wells, Christine Kestel, uncle, David Kestel; cousins; Mike Wells and Jeanie Kestel; niece, Kayla York; nephews, Chris York, Jason Sudduth, Brian Sudduth; step children; Tyler King and Ashley King; and many loving great nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Her funeral service will be Wednesday November 25, 2015 at 12pm at Clark Legacy Center Brannon Crossing conducted by Rev. Tommy Simpson and Rev. Todd Nelson with entombment to follow at Blue Grass Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Her casket bearers will be Michael Sudduth, Norton Sudduth, Brian Sudduth, Jason Sudduth, Marty York, Teddy York and Jeff York. Her visitation will be Wednesday from 10am until 12pm.
