Online Obituaries for Lexington, KY Susan Click Danner died on Monday, August 28th, after a long battle with brain cancer. She was the daughter of the late James E. Click and Martha Razor Click. She is survived by her husband, Dr. Fred Danner; her son, James Congleton; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was born in Washington, DC and graduated from Lee High School in 1965. She attended the University of Kentucky and received a degree in Art History. She worked for many years as a graphic artist both in Washington, DC and in Lexington, Kentucky. She returned to the University of Kentucky and received her Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy in 1994. She worked as a marriage and family therapist for several years before retiring to care for her aging mother. Susan was a vibrant, creative, and caring person who took a genuine interest in and connected with everyone she met. She had a terrific sense of humor and used it in every situation possible. Everyone who met her was touched by her presence, and we will all miss her terribly. Her family would like to thank all of the kind competent people at the Markey Cancer Center who participated in her care, especially Dr. John Villano and his nurse Tracy Howard. Funeral Information A memorial service will be held at some future date.
