Michael "Mike" S. Ramey

MICHAEL (MIKE) S. RAMEY Kingsport- Michael (Mike) S. Ramey, 60, of Kingsport, passed away on Monday night (March 4, 2019) at his residence following a brief illness. He was a lifelong resident of Sullivan County. Mike enjoyed going to Bike Week every year and watching NASCAR. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Lori Jo Ramey; his parents, Rev. Carl E. Ramey and Doris Page Ramey; his sister, Mary Frances Simpson. Mike Ramey is survived by his son, Michael Gouge; a daughter, Lena Barry; his grandson, Aiden Gouge; siblings, Eugene Ramey and wife, Trudi, Dorothy Duda and husband, Bill, Lois Arrington, Minnie Rhoton, Viola R. Campbell and husband, Bill along with several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and cousins. A graveside service will be held on Thursday (March 7, 2019) at 12 noon at East Lawn Memorial Park with Pastor Freddie Redmond, officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
