Frankfort, KY James K. Gayhart, 86, husband of Mary Dean Gayhart, passed away Saturday October 17, 215. Born in Wooten, KY to the late Charles Gayhart and Cora Vanover Gayhart on November 22, 1928. James was an accountant for the State of Kentucky, a Member of Sand Springs Baptist Church, and a veteran of the US Air Force. James was also a member of the Burnside Lodge #634 F AM. In addition to his wife, James is survived by his daughters Kim Gayhart Read, Lexington; Kathy Gayhart, Lawrenceburg; his grandchildren Jamie Goff; Hunter Read; his great granddaughter Hadley Goff; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will be 2:00pm Thursday October 22, 2015 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd. Rev. Mike Hamrick will officiate. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Serving as casket bearers will be Hunter Read, Larry Hood, Mark Gayhart, Ryan Fee, L.B. Wallace, and John Maggard. Visitation will be from 11:00am Thursday until start of service at the funeral home.
