Born in Shelby County, on March 30, 1923 to the late James Ernest Mitchell and Lena Bohanon Mitchell. Mr. Mitchell was a veteran of the US Marine Corps and served during WWII. He was retired from National Distillery, a member of Choatesville Christian Church, and Hiram Lodge #4 F: AM. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son Rodney Lee Mitchell ( Jenny), Frankfort; his sister Rosanell Griffith, Shelbyville; grandchildren Rebecca (Justin) McNaull, VA; Ryan Mitchell, Frankfort; his great grandchildren Caleb McNaull; Eliza McNaull; and Presley Mitchell. He was preceded in death by one granddaughter Lisa Mitchell. Funeral Information Funeral services will be held 1:00pm Monday, March 14, 2016 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd. Rev. Mike Napier will officiate. Visitation will be from 3:00pm to 5:00pm Sunday, March 13, 2016 at the funeral home.
