Obituary Joseph "Joe" Andrew Garrett, 70, of Lexington, died Friday, December 3, 2010. He was born in Ft. Worth, TX, on July 22, 1940, to Louise Prettyman Hatton and the late Richard Andrew Garrett. Joe was a retired fleet supervisor for GTE Kentucky and for the past few years lived in Sun City West, Arizona. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughters, Ginger Walker and Julie Garrett; son, Rick Garrett, all of Lexington; sister, Anita Sexton, Nicholasville; brother, Keith (Diane) Hatton, Versailles; Grandchildren, Dustin, McKenzie, Andrea and Allison; his great granddaughter, Shiloh; special friend, Janice Lesinski, Sun City West, AZ; and many loving friends. Joe was also preceded in death by his granddaughter, Mikal Ashlock. Funeral Information Gathering of Family and Friends will be 5-7 pm, Saturday, December 11 at Clark Legacy Center in Brannon Crossing.
